HTS Code Lookup is a research interface for public U.S. tariff schedule data. It helps you find and compare candidate provisions; it does not classify merchandise for you and is not a customs ruling, legal opinion, tax advice, or brokerage service.
Classification depends on complete product facts, the General Rules of Interpretation, section and chapter notes, current customs rulings, origin, use, material, and other legal requirements. Verify every candidate against the current official HTS and, when appropriate, CBP or a qualified customs professional before filing or quoting duties.
Displayed duty fields reproduce base schedule data supplied by the USITC. Additional duties, trade remedies, quotas, exclusions, fees, and product-specific requirements may apply and may not be represented by this lookup.
Revision comparisons and related CBP ruling results are research leads. A machine-readable field comparison does not prove that legal notes were unchanged, and a ruling search hit does not prove that the ruling applies to your merchandise. Read the complete current official sources and ruling status.
The service and its data presentation are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for decisions, filings, costs, penalties, or losses arising from use of the service.
You may use the service for lawful research. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or use the service to violate applicable law or third-party rights. The service, data version, and these terms may change.

This site has no accounts, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. A search is sent to the site's Cloudflare Worker and matched against its HTS database. Raw product descriptions and raw search text are not intentionally written to the product analytics dataset.
Coarse, aggregate product events may be recorded: event type, text-versus-code query type, length and result-count buckets, timing, selected-result rank, viewport class, error class, and release id. These events do not contain the raw query, email, account identity, or a site-created persistent user id. Cloudflare Analytics Engine currently retains these aggregate events for up to three months.
Recent searches, comparison choices, and product facts you enter in the research checklist may be stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on that device. Recent searches have a “Clear recent” control; each checklist has a “Clear facts for this code” control, and all local data can also be removed through your browser settings.
Related-ruling lookup runs only when you request it. The site sends the selected public dotted HTS code to the site's Worker, which validates it against the active HTS database and queries CBP CROSS. If that exact level returns no ruling rows, the Worker may also query only the derived 8-digit and HS-6 parent prefixes of the selected code. It does not send your original search words or locally entered product facts to CBP. CBP and Cloudflare process those requests under their own infrastructure and policies.
Copying, downloading, or printing a research dossier is performed in your browser. The dossier can contain product facts you entered, so review it before sending or printing it. The site does not upload the generated dossier.
A share link places the selected query and code in its URL. When opened, that URL is sent through normal hosting infrastructure and may remain in browser history or ordinary security/delivery records. Do not put confidential product information in a shared query.
Cloudflare may process ordinary request data such as IP address, time, path, and user agent to deliver and secure the service. Following an official-source link sends a new request to that third party under its own privacy policy. The site owner does not sell personal information.
